Not entirely true. Seals and rubber do not like ethanol. I’ve had to reseal the gas tank in my ‘65 Mustang more times than I care for because the ethanol content keeps destroying my seals. I finally discovered permatex fuel resistant gasket dressing that seals against fuel and ethanol specifically.

If your car or truck can run E15 it should say so on the fuel cap and in the manual.
An example is my 2019 Tacoma. It's good up to E15.

When you want to promote electric, you hit the fuel of internal combustion. Pretty clear cut.

The e15 law has been in effect for a while. Only certain gas stations will sell it. All the bill is trying to do is extend the time gas stations are allowed to sell it. They usually stop selling it in the summer but they want to allow them to continue selling to help people with the prices. The funny thing is, the 10 cents you save on the gallon won’t make a difference overall because your fuel mileage will drop. It will basically even out. They trying to help the current administrations current image. Your 91 and 93 with still be available with 10 percent ethanol.

Good stuff. I really did start this thread with the hope I might learn more than what I’ve read to date.

Problem is the info gleaned here is from the same place you got it. Google. Take it with a grain of salt.

E15 already exists its called unleaded 88. They're not adding 5% to all fuel types.

I would hope people’s real world, actually experience would trump the ‘opinion checkers’ on the internet. But hell, my government would never lie to me, would they? (insert LOL here)

I’m running my car exclusively on E85 now. My CR-V I try and use the ethanol free pump at Wawa if I can.

Here e85 has gone up to as much as 93 at BJs, so no benefit unless you need the octane.
