What can I say? I built the ramps many years ago and just got the Camaro late last year.

2x12 would be my choice today, but what do they cost now?

Race Ramps will work on any surface.

Now here's an opinion: Race Ramps are worth the high price. Worry free functionality.

My current ramps are plastic ones from darn near 20 years ago. I used them on my grand prix and gto. But they are to skinny. I might try the rhino. But i am looking heavily at race ramps. I like the wood idea but storage and weight could be an issue.

That was when wood was cheap. I made a set of those as well. But damn they're heavy as hell. Since I got the race ramps, I'm dismantling those and re-purposing the wood for other projects.

It is and that is why mine are stored in the corner behind my lift.

Rhino ramps + 2 RV leveling blocks in front of each one to clear the SS 1LE front splitter for me. Here are a few pictures: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=31

What do you recommend?

Did you trade in your new challenger for a new Camaro?

Might work for the Camao.

Have the same one from dome other vendor. Doesn’t get you too high.

I went quick jacks also...

No, just did not want to peeve anyone off talking about the Challenger.

The main issue I am having with the ramps is all 4 tires on my car are 305mm (12") so a lot of the plastic ramps are not wide enough. I just do not feel comfortable with the tires hanging off each side of the ramp.

A guy in my neighborhood bought a local repair shop a few years back, he is a Camaro guy, cool fella. I stopped and ask him what he would charge and he said $17.50, so for now I will let him do it. I trust him. He actually converted a 4th gen to IRS a piece back.

Hey Fran. Good you have a shop you trust. I do as well but I enjoy working on my vehicles too. And I can still use the best oil and save money over paying.
I lucked out and found a lightly used set of Race Ramps less than 50 miles from the house.
A nice guy with a heavily modded ZL1 who went to an actual lift in his garage.
I only used them once but it was a breeze.
Race ramps also have a product thats a pedestal. Im thinking about them as well. I can drive up on the front and jack the rear onto the pedestals and have a level raised car to change tranny and rear fluids.
I like that you went to a square set up with 305s. What wheels and what about off set?
