I go thru phases. I like old country... before pop took over. But I’m mostly Mostly into more southern rock/thrash metal/hair metal/classic rock. Although right next to Metallica at the top of my music food chain is Skynyrd. Right now I’m into disturbed, next week it’ll probably be something else, maybe some Maiden, maybe the 30 year box set re-release of ...and justice for All, hell might even be STP or staind...
If ya like Skynyrd, check out Blackberry Smoke. Great Southern Rock Band. Been around 20 years. "Too Rock for Country, and too Country for Rock". This is an old billboard from one of their concerts.

Funny you should ask! Yesterday, the weather was perfect and I was cruising along the coast with the roof down listening to Spotify's "Take Me Home Tonight" by Eddie Money radio channel, cranked. Some great tunes in that playlist. :-)

I cannot for the life of me figure out what is the first song in the video. But it may play loudly in the car from a launch.

Of course we all have different musical tastes, but here are a few of mine.

'The Distance' by Cake
'Fuel' , 'Whiskey in the Jar' or pretty much anything else by Metallica
'Knights of Cydonia', 'Plug in Baby', or 'Uprising' by Muse

But I usually just prefer to listen to the best tune of all. My exhaust

On a side note, I recently installed a HiFonics 1000w 4 channel amp in the car with Infinity 6.5 fronts and JBL GTO639 6x9s in the rear (what a freaking nightmare that was). It sounds amazing, but my Flowmasters drone so bad at highway speed that it actually has a serious noise cancelling effect on the music and will kill certain low frequencies. The time for Corsa, or possibly a Solo catback is coming very soon.

I love all music. I can listen to just about anything. That s why I always have Satellite or a way to stream in any car.
Then, of course, there are those days when only the sound of the open road fills the void.

Dire Straits, Queen, Peter Gabriel or Billy Joel for me. Can you tell I am an old guy. The Eagles are as country as I go.
