Which do you prefer?
Personally I prefer the black pods because the gauges are black. But I can see guys with chrome or silver gauges leaning the other way.

Black, I think it will blend in better but everyone is going to have there own opinion. its going to be what you like that matters.

My AEM gauges came with a silver bezel so I used those with the silver pods. Still like yours better.

Black for sure. Looks better, silver would be "too much" silver in there. You want a little contrast. But it all depends on what YOU like.

Call me crazy, but I think the silver buckets looks way better. I think it punctuates the gauges, and it looks like it belongs as part of the bezel. Black buckets looks like someone hot glued them onto their '97 Accord.

Thanks Flying Banana for letting me post this quick classified as it pertains to this thread.
I bought a bezel used and decided not to use it. It's in excellent condition and I'm just looking to make my money back if you're looking for one. $15 + freight.
