Need help for a project! ISO shifter location dimensions
This is a random request, but I drastically need this for a custom project! I am looking for a CAD image (or something with exact measurements) of the shifter location area on a 6th gen Camaro. I need the dimensions of the shifter assembly bolts ( four of them) as well as the dimensions of the shifter 'hole' in the transmission tunnel.
I've tried searching but can't for the life of me find anything. My only other options I can think of are: Email a company that makes a short throw, and hope they are willing to share. Buy a stock used shifter from ebay, or attempt to get good measurements from my own car. Does anyone have such an image already? The ability to measure a shifter assembly? Any help would be appreciated! See the picture below to see what I need.

I’d start by contacting George at MGW shifters...really nice guy, and awesome pieces. He had a 6th gen to mock up one of his shifters, but decided against it because of the intensive labor involved for the DIY guy, or that labor would cost more than the shifter for those paying for install.
So good chance he knows what you need |

No go on MGW, great idea though. Any other companies out there make shifters for these cars?
