Back in the day,, lol, yea I owned a 1969 Camaro that had a Fuelie 327 in it and a Muncey M21 Rock crusher tranny, manual steering and manual brakes, was a bitch to drive at slow speeds, but was fun none the less. Had it rebuilt and bored 60 over with a big cam. Blue was the color. Nice car..

I turned 16 in 1982. I have owned a bunch of muscle cars mainly because grandad owned a salvage yard and you could still find them there. The old Camaros are listed in my sig line and I didnt give over $2000.00 for any of them.
My first car was a 70 Chevelle my dad bought new in 69 and traded a 67 Camaro in on it.

Almost had one many years ago. A guy on my dad’s mail route had one sitting in his backyard. Turns out the owner got strung out on a new drug called “Crack” and needed money real bad so my dad made him offer of a few hundred dollars. When his family got wind of what was going on they got him in rehab and we never got the car. No idea what ever happened to it.

My first Camaro was a 69 coupe w 6 cyclinder/powerglide. Got it in 1976 with 22k miles. Drove it daily until 1987 when it had 248k miles on it and holes in the floorboards and trunk. Parted it out for more money than I paid for it! Much more!
Second Camaro was 1967 RS/SS convertible. Mildly optioned. Drove it as a hobby car for 32 years.. Had 187k miles on it when I traded it in for my third (and probably last) Camaro, in 2014. It is a 13 ZL1 convertible, which was a showroom floor leftover. If I have this Camaro for 32 years, it will probably have 80k on it and be ready for the next owner to overhaul it.

Built this in 2005 thru 2008, 69 Camaro, pump gas only 548" BBC, naturally aspirated, g force 4 speed, never trailered. 67 miles each way to and from the dragstrip, ran best of 9.63 at 141 with a 1.38 60'.

I had a '73 Z28 and it was a great car. My 2010 SS would run away and hide from it on the track!

Sweet! That is a hell of an ET and 60' for a street driver clutch car! My '69 is a carb'd 548" also. 540/548/555/565 has always been a great bore/stroke combo for a BBC drag motor.

I’ve had a few over the years. The white 68 and blue 70 were 396, 4 speed cars. 76 rally sport 350, 4 speed. 77 Z28 350, auto. Red and black 68’s were 350, 4 speed cars. Had a few more but don’t have pictures.
