Headers and tune question?

I’m going the route of having my headers installed then a dynosteve tune as many folks here have been beyond happy with his work. My question is would driving around for a bit without the tune be a problem?

I drove mine a few weeks before adding another 188 miles to see Steve at his shop for a tune. I think just don't go wide open throttle, you will be good.

You should show a delayed response code from the headers placement of o2 sensors, also most likely more than that codes from the o2 sensors...…… that's what will happen, after that you can clear the codes when your tuned. Eventually the engine will adjust for the increased flow via computer.

stay away from WOT pulls and also back off whenever/if you hear the engine pinging during normal driving and you'll be fine

Probably. Your car will probably “glug” like mine did when I installed ARH. Don’t drive it unless you have to

Driving for a while is no problem.
the value for o2 delay must be changed. otherwise the afr timing is not correct.
the headers are longer, so the delay for the o2 is a little bit longer.

Why the wait? Are you purchasing the headers and tuner separately? If so, I would highly recommend you just wait until you can buy both at the same time, his header/tuner packages are a great deal especially with the 10% off.

*CORRECTION*
I installed ARH headers and a BTR blower cam and glugged all the way to the tuner
