Did you wire them up as running and brake lights. I cant even see the screw, I gonna wait until I get a custom defuser and then replace the at the same time..

If you remove all the diffuser screws you can kind of feel for the screw I just broke my old reflectors and looked for the light from where it was.

My reflectors came yesterday. Excellent quality. Finally something that makes sense for the rear valance. Mine are tied to the fender running lights only.
No blinking or brake. Just a running light. I tried both low intensity and high to match the fender LED's. High was the choice. Low is really dim. |

I was afraid of them being too bright and out shining the taillights (on the brake)... but it doesn't look bad.
On the other hand i kind like the subtle look. No blinking or lighting changes i think would look to ricey. thats just me tho.

17 ZL1 what a car....
|
Just ordered mine... From the time you guys placed your order how long did it take to get them in? Any suggestions or tips on the install. The idea of breaking the old ones did not sound like a bad idea if it makes the install really easy.
Pics soon......

Advantage goes to people with aftermarket exhaust. Allows more sight room. I used a large flat screwdriver , slid it in between the aluminum bumper and the black plastic egg crate style filler panel that you will see and twisted the screwdriver. By standing the flat blade upright between the two bumper parts it gives more visual of the Philips screw that has to come out. Once the screw and washer are out then the reflector will come out. |

Here's a shot of the screw.
For some reason the gap on my car was smaller. That's why I used a flat screwdriver to open it up. |

Its straight forward. Have patience is all i can see it needs. It took me about 3 hours, just to find the best way to get those screws out... I have fat hand, I did have aftermarket exhaust but consider pipes are larger thus reducing space to move around, and then not really being able to see so everything is by feel and a screw driver doesnt really give much feedback in feel :P Get a beer and have fun.
