Mine seems like it might be coming from near the passenger tail-light area, but I can't SEE anywhere it might be coming from.

Does anyone have a schematic on all of the drains for these cars?
The picture in post #4 in this thread shows the sunroof drainage holes. There is one on each side of the trunk right above the tail lights. Go to the other side (inside trunk), and you will find a hose attached to it. The hose can slip off causing water to drain inside your trunk. I've had this happen to me recently. What I did was put them back together then zip tied to prevent the hose from slipping off again.

Yes, it has a sunroof, but the water seems to be concentrated on the rubber mat on the drivers side, then down in the battery hole.

Thanks for all the info on this everyone! I will be looking around this weekend and see if I can pin it down where it's coming from.

I don't have hoses there since I don't have a sunroof. Need to find a different spot that water could be getting in.

I had this happen on my 2011 2LT/RS several years back. The dealership found out it was those plastic strips on top of the roof of the car. Those are the sunroof water drain strips. Apparently in my case, the drain hoses became plugged up that it was causing the water to run outside of the hoses under the strips and go into the trunk forming puddles. In some cases more than a puddle. They repaired it under warranty.
