KaizenSpeed Maggie 2300, 813whp @15.6psi

5th gear pull today, 15.6 psi. 110 octane. Belted out 813whp. Going to try to pulley it down for a big 20 psi pull. Getting the video uploaded to YouTube.

Cant wait to line it up next to people.

Excellent! Heading there myself on the 16th to get my E-Force tuned by them. Satisfied with their work?

I saw the video on Facebook. Looked like a caged animal wanting to tear loose on the dyno.

I'm running a 75 at 703, going down to the 70 soon and trying that for a few more psi

I did rods and pistons on mine. But I was planning on pushing the Maggie and also planning to replace the maggie with something else down the road.

Why would you want to change since 813 is awesome, but you can make over 900 as 6genMike made 1009 at the crank which is probably about 900 at the wheels. With the 2650 coming out in a few months you could change to that and make 1000 plus if you want that much power.

@Shizzy,

What a crazy @ss torque curve...that is insane. Do you have a tune for running on 93 octane? Just curious what you would run on pump gas.

Are you still thinking about changing to a different setup and if so, what is the goal, a higher peak HP number? I don’t know if I have seen any config with that kind of power under the curve...unless the instant torque simply makes track times too unpredictable? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hell, right now based on a 15% loss, you are running 950hp at the flywheel.

Will have pure 92 octane numbers next week. My guess is 720-750 (5th gear same conditions). Not going to push it too crazy or ‘max it’ on pump. Reason for eventually wanting a different setup would be power management. Blowers can be annoying because its one power level, all the time, all gears. With a turbo I could make say 1200whp peak but not until 4th gear to help in traction limited situations. I go to a lot street style events as well as the street itself so I rarely play on a nice well prepped track.

As far as Mikes numbers I have been talking to him and his setup is crazy. He has a much bigger motor and is running 5 more psi. We might put on my 20 psi pulley setup and see how much we can get on stock displacement. We were making ~ 25.6 whp per psi. So if we could hold the same returns it could be a 130whp increase.

Thanks for the info, very interesting. Do you have a timeline for making the change? The rest of us Maggie guys are still hoping to learn from your Configs for a bit.

When you say 20psi pulley, what size pulley are you thinking?

As I understand it, I will need a 2.8 GripTec upper and replace my current lower with a +22 lower. This would also require removal of the front swaybar so it could clear. So its quite the ordeal to try it.

Wont be making any changes until winter so still staying with my Maggie buddies haha
