GM dark tails on a LS 1LE
I posted this question in someone else's thread but it seems to have died, so I thought I would just make a new thread.
I have a LS 1LE on order and would like to install the GM dark tail lights and third brake light. I've seen a lot of talk about the need to add resistors or some type of adapter harness on cars that didn't come with the RS package. My question is since I am getting the 1LE package on my LS will I need the resistor/adapter or does the 1LE package give you the RS tails? |

I'm not sure, the 1LE package may include the LED tails.
OP, what I'd do is once the car is delivered, check if it has the "base" (halogen) or "uplevel" (LED) taillights (see below), then proceed accordingly. You only need that harness if your car comes with the "base" taillights.
