Best replacement for 1LE DSSV shocks and struts for street use

I'm going to convert my ZLE back from track to street use since I bought a dedicated track car. Like many of you, I love everything about the car except for the ride. Looking for recommendations for replacement shocks and struts. I've read threads about ones at price points from KW to Detroit Speed. Just looking for a few current opinions before purchasing. Thanks in advance.

Shocks aren't going to help. The DSSVs are excellent.

It's the fact that there isn't a single piece of rubber in the suspension to combat NVH.

Everything in the ZLE is metal on metal.

That's 100% untrue. The 1LE shocks and springs are 3x stiffer than a standard ZL1. Swapping them out for aftermarket coil overs would make a HUGE difference.

Tons of options. Not sure if there's an Ohlins Road and Track kit for the Camaro, but I've heard a lot of good things about them for street use on other cars.

Another option is just sell and buy a regular ZL1. Magride is really good for street use.

Fortune Auto 510. The rear spring perch issue can be fixed by getting their Swift springs from what I understand.

no ohlins kit they 5th gen one sold so bad they decided not to make one

if i was doing a street car not track use id do a kw v3 kit

the rest are mostly junk or too track orientated

I've seen a few std Camaros without electronic suspension do really well with the different Bilstein options with matching springs. Seems like a great package for not a lot of money that would work really well on street.

Detroit speed has some coilovers listed for a camaro.
You should call them to see if they would work on a ZLE.

A lot of options came up with a google search.
Once again - unsure if they will bolt up to a ZLE.

I've considered a new setup as the corner i need is $1700-1800...and it only lasted about 17k miles.

Gonna hafta be very plug n play though

I have full SPL rear suspension and BMR solid motor mounts. Neither of those bother me as far as NVH. It’s the shocks and struts.

Yes that’s what I’ve found. Wish they were any other color but yellow. Maybe consider the Bilstiens with Eibach springs but then it would have the Ronald McDonald look.

They will for sure work but they are around 8k for the set. Maybe for a track car.

I have a regular ZL1. My ZLE is highly modded and has a rebuilt title. Not really an option. I love the ZLE and it would be foolish to sell it for what I could get out of it.

Appreciate all of the replies so far, thanks to all!

I'd sell and buy a standard ZL1.
