Sure, GM has already teased the C7 Corvette Stingray reveal with these three images of the fully revealed convertible, but there’s still much more to see, including watching the debut live.

GM has now put up its live video link ahead of the C7 Corvette Stingray reveal at the 2013 Geneva auto show – set for Tuesday @ 2:30AM, EST.

First official 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray Convertible images surface

These are the official and very real 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible first images. These images were released ahead of the Geneva show, and we are sure to get a whole deluge of more photos when the show starts, but what we see so far is downright sexy!

No further details came with the two photos, but what we can see here is that the car has the Z51 Performance Package (blacked out ducts, larger brakes and wheels). Well enjoy while we wait for more photos!

GM has confirmed this morning the debut of the Corvette Stingray Convertible at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5.

Together with the confirmation information, GM released an outline sketch of the Stingray Convertible.

According to this report (from Autoweek), we won’t have to wait long to see the droptop version of the C7 Corvette Stingray. That’s because it’s now reportedly due to be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva auto show in early March.

It may strike some as peculiar to debut the convertible version of an American automotive icon at a non-US show, but according to the report, the rationale is that since the C7 Stingray was engineered to compete with the world’s best and brightest, why not have an international debut for it.

There’s also precedence for such a move. The Geneva auto show was also the venue where GM debuted the C6 Corvette Convertible, back in March 2004.
