New Saab 9-5 sketch

I've always liked Scandinavian cars for their quirkiness and durability (current Volvo owner). I almost bought a 9-3 Aero before I ended up buying an S60 2.4T Sport instead.

Saabs are laughed at by the Scandinavians. Years ago I went to college with a guy from Sweden, he said they all think it is so funny how Americans value Saabs almost as luxury cars. They see them as junk over there.

I guess to each his own. I like the looks of the current Saab, they just never have any balls. Even the Viggen (or whatever it was called) was slow, especially for the $ you put out..

Must've been a Volvo guy. And Volvo has been true crap for years. People can think what they want, I LOVE Saab. Sure they're not considered luxuary cars here, they're domestics and are reasonable priced. But they're way more dependable and tough then modern Volvos.

Nice to see Saab releasing some stuff on the new 9-5, I have the second year of the current generation and have had a great time with the car.

Meh, I still think GM should sell Saab. The brand's whole image was built on being unique and a little quirky, and that is just not something GM can really cultivate.
