one of them, but there wern't a lot of them when they first came out. the toy and character in both the comics and cartoon (toy came first) bumblebee was a yellow VW beetle. there was a red one too, but can't remember it's name.

If i were bumblebee I would switch to a Camaro too. Having hot chicks ride up in the car. You're not pulling in the models as a VW lol. Now and Audi S5….about as close to a VW as i'll get lol

If I remember correctly, Michael Bay originally tried to get Bumblebee as a VW bug, but VW would not approve it,. I will have to do some more research on that. And the Angry Nerd was kind of a jerk.

I doubt it. GM paid to have GM vehicles in the movie. it's really pretty minor, all directors take liberties with canon. hell, J.J. blew up vulcan

This guy is annoying, and that alone makes me wanna disagree with him. But when you're right...you're right. I too disliked that the entire movie was nothing more than a long GM commercial. And yes, Bumblebee was always a lovable character. He was more like the Autobot that stayed on the sidelines and helped or did the auxiliary things to help. He was not really a fore-front fighter. But of course times have changed and this movie is not really for kids like the old cartoon was.

lol, that's it. I was about 10 or 12 when they first came out. transformers and G.I. Joe were the hottest things going if you were a 8-14 yr old boy. I think the girls were caught up in cabbage patch kids and my little pony. I remembered there was a red one because when they first cam out there weren't many of them. 6-7 autobots and 5-6 decepticons. cliffjumper and BB were the little one for the poor people
