Of course it does, however have you ever been in a car with heated seats, especially on a real cold day? Getting in and flicking a switch and being warm in 10 seconds is worth its weight in gold.

However my factory heated seats do not inspire me to wonder if they will set my car on fire and burn me to death... hence the actual point of this post.
