Most kids my age don't even know what the movie Bullitt is or was about. Steve McQueen is an epic figure!
I'd have to imagine most of the people here on C5 at least have some idea of what it is.

I had a 66 Charger when it was new. Unfortunately, I was in the Army in 67-70, and could not afford one of those model years. Nearly cried when they blew up that Charger in the movie! I was talking to some Chrysler engineers at the proving ground in Az a few years ago. They were trying to get Chrysler to do a REAL remake of the 68 Charger. Get a 68, take the measurements and put a modern drive train in it. The Germans refused. Said it would never sell. Anyone wonder why the Germans drove Chrysler into the ground?
