target rainchecks

who hear hasnt had good luck with target not honoring their rainchecks.my mom and i went to target yesterday to look at tv's,and they had a 40 inch samsung led tv smart tv on sale for 500 bucks then u could get another 25 bucks off if u have the redcard. well we ask the sales asscoiate if we could get a raincheck and asked if they will get anymore in and he didnt know. but i went back to day just to look more at it and the same dude was working sales associate and i asked him about it and gave him the item number off the raincheck and he checked his price gun and he showed me and it said available in other stores. but we have a raincheck for that particular store. so what will happen will they honor thier raincheck or are we screwed. this tv is going to be a christmas present

Ask them if they can get one shipped over to this store for you or can they call the other location and hold one for you to drive over and pick up.

I would think that that they would honor a Target raincheck from any Target store.

I checked another target and they wouldn't honor it I dont think

I don't know about Target but other stores that iIve done rain checks with only honor rain checks from their own store.

why do you need a rain check if the other store is stocking it?

,at that store but I asked today and a target raincheck is good at any target store. And this tv was on sale this past Saturday and we wanted to get that tv at that price when they got it in. But i have to double check with another store make sure that's correct. This tv is a 40 inch Samsung led tv that has internet capability,its1080p, 120Hz 4 hdmi inputs. It was originally either a 800 dollar tv or 1000 tv, so either it was 300 or 500 off

Is it in the ad? If so, check the fine print next to the tv. A lot of the electronic items will say, "Limited Quantities. No rainchecks. No substitutions". Target will honor the raincheck at that store, if it's an item that can be raincheck-ed to begin with.

We didn't see it in the add, but we go a raincheck for it, ill have to ask my mom to see the rain check. Its a xmas gift for a dad. And this one was nice. But like I said they had it in stock at other stores,when I asked customer service he said a store bout 30 miles away from there had it in stock and that that store would honor from another target. As he said target rainchecks are honored at any target. Which I'm gonna call the other target tomorrow to see if I was lied to
