Carbon Flash Stripe Removal ?

Anybody know the answer to this question;

I ordered my 2015 Z51 with the full length carbon flash racing stripes, I was a little surprised when it came in that those stripes even run across the transparent roof, sorta blocking out the whole reason for having the transparent roof top.......... my question is, can I remove those stripes from the roof panel without damage to the roof panel or leaving a residue that my be hard to clean off ?

any help is appreciated

good idea,....... basically he said

#1 since the car is new the carbon flash stripes have not adhered well yet, &
#2 they stick very well to painted surfaces better than they do to the plastic of the transparent tops.

so very easy to remove, like you suggested, with a blow dryer to heat them up, slowly peel them off, and if needed, clean up with goof-off

I have not done it yet, but plan to soon.......

Wow, I also ordered the dual CF racing stripes, but with the visible carbon fiber roof. I will not be happy if the stripes run across the roof. The car was built 12/3 but I won't get it until early January. Please let me know how the removal goes for you in case I need to do it also.
Thanks, GH

My dealer rep at Les Stanford is checking with the factory on Monday to see if the stripes will run across my exposed carbon fiber roof. He suggested heat and WD-40 to remove if needed.

they are off.........

removed the racing stripes this morning, no issues........

heated them up with a blow dryer for about 2-3 minutes, and they peeled right off in one big piece, easy ,easy, and left no residue at all. Now my transparent roof top is transparent !!

You can park your car under the sun and let it heat up. Then peel it off.
