leather seat conversion
I noticed on my 13' Camaro LS the cloth seats have zippers in the back which look like you can take the cloth right off? If that's the fact, is there a way to put the leather interior in my car; if so where?

pretty easy to add.. tons of aftermarket kits for $100 - $200, takes some time to remove the covers and install the elements though. I added an aftermarket kit to the wife's car in 2007 front and rear, no issues.. Doing it to my off-road truck as well.. I would add them to the back seat of my Camaro (already have OEM in the front) for my kid but 9 of 10 times she is in the car she is in the front, so not a real issue.

For full leather, between 700 and 1200 is what I found. There is more to the install then just pulling them on and zipping it up. Some have glue and I think all have hog rings. They sell a kit to do it and you can find a DIY thread in the DIY section.

I've been contemplating getting leather and installing it myself also. I've followed a few threads on diy.

Do it! I did, just get hog ring pliers. I will sell you mine (brand new- got 2) for a couple of bucks + shipping. No glue.

yeah overall on a scale of 1-10 it's about a 5 in easyness..
hog rings are a bitch without the right tool.. lay out the leather in the sun for an hour or 2 before you are ready to install them (while taking the OEM seat covers off) to make the leather soft and easier to work with. when you are done, if you have a convertible, put the top down in the sun and let the leather shink up to the cushions, if you don't have a convertible, use a hair dryer (not a heat gun, too hot will melt things) and run it over the leather to tighten and shrink it up to the cushions. all in all about 6 hours on the average vehicle, I have done it several dozen times in my life, I used to host "tech" days in my driveway for Mopar guys and install the katskinz for/with the owners, I could do 3 at the same time in a 8 hour day with help from each of the respective owners. The hardest part is those damn hog rings and peeling the cover off the head-rests.
