Long Time Camaro Owner, with a New ZL-1
I've owned many Camaros over the past 50 years, and currently have a '71 Z/28-RS, and a '10 2SS-RS. Monday I picked up a 2023 ZL-1 from Airport Chevy in Medford, Oregon, and drove it back to northern Illinois, getting home this afternoon. 2348.5 miles on the odometer!!!
I opted for a black one, 6 speed, data recorder, nav, battery tender, red seatbelts & kneepads, and car cover. Nothing to be found locally, so I flew to San Francisco, spent a night at my sister's, and we road-tripped to Medford on Monday. The 2010 has always impressed me as the most luxurious muscle car that I've ever owned, but this thing is amazing!!!! I rolled through some mountain roads on the way home, at unmentionable speeds, and never once felt uncomfortable. I've been reading a little, since I got home, but first upgrade will be a cold-air intake. Is Rotofab the one that most prefer? I can search tomorrow, but I need to get some rest tonight!!! |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Rotofab is a good choice. I have a relatively stock 2013 ZL1, and put a CAI on it and absolutely love it.
You've almost got as many miles on yours as I do on mine (2,800). I guess I should get out and drive it more. But those are miles of smiles, as it should be.
