Should be able to take it home tomorrow. We don't have the remote start kit yet and they have to call and get the authorization for the 430tq calibration.

Well, working at the dealership helps.

Definitely tomorrow. The local GM parts warehouse that supplies dealers with the LPOs does not have the remote start kit at this time so it will be a while before I get that. They're trying to get the info for the uplevel calibration now.

I have a question: are the seats upgraded from the 2nd gen? anyone know? I drove 9 hours this past week in my 2nd gen Colorado and that was too much..... they are fine for poking around town but I found that distance was not comfortable after a while.

I haven't done any long distances in my Canyon yet but my cloth seats do seem vastly more comfortable than the vinyls in my Colorado.

I have no experience inside a 3rd gen yet.

That said, every comment I've read about the seats indicate they are either decent/comfortable or better feeling than the 2nd gen.

Personally, I dislike the seat bottoms in my 2015 Colorado with leather. I think they'd be a huge upgrade over my 2015 seats, whereas the 2019 model should be a slight upgrade over mine since they changed a bit that year. Apparently, they are a bit wider too.

Also, the 3rd gen has a proper dead pedal (so I've read) which is something else I've wanted in my 2nd gen...well, since I first got it.
