As long as the content is still available, we’re lucky. Outage could be hosting site/DNS issues. If Db issues we’d get the crazy db error when pulling up the site.

I just come back another day. The info here is very valuable. Lots of history and experimentation by owners…

Pretty sure the Mods are volunteers so keep that in mind...

The biggest overall problem is the Admin, not the Mods. The Admin is completely silent and non-communicative. Isn't even telling the Mods what's going on.

Sorry to chime in late here. We've been monitoring the downtimes and trying to isolate & fix the issue. Rest assured, we're aware and working on it! Thanks for everyone's patience.

100%... the content is very valuable and yes there have been times when threads had to be restored.

Not really... Mods haven't asked because there is no need to.

If we did, we would absolutely get an answer, but already know from experience it's being worked and indicated that already in this thread.

I'm guessing you found out something you didn't already know or weren't already told...

Communication is the key.

^^^ I have to agree with that. We all understand there can be difficulties, and a simple sentence or two explaining what's happening can go a long way, even when there is no resolution yet.

No communication almost immediately signals no interest in these days.

I guess my communication that basically said the exact same thing doesn't count. Not our 1st Rodeo.

If someone "in charge" of the site didn't care or is negligent, the site would go down and never come back up...lol...Once it's back on, what does anyone need to know? (Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it's down how can you be told what's going on?...lol.) It's on or off...If off, it will come back on...If on, problem solved!...lol

P.S. After all these downtimes, it takes about 2 minutes to get "caught up"...
