We all appreciate everything that you and the other mods do, including trying to shine a little bit of light where you're able to.

For me, the bigger issue is that there has been no -information- communicated from anyone - including the Admin, even now. "We know about it" tells us that there's some sort of awareness -that- there's a problem, but none of us has any clue what's happening, what's being done, if/when we might expect some relief, etc. We are being left completely in the dark about it which is concerning to me as someone who works in the technical sector and understands security, cyber security, and hosting systems.

Although I didn't reply to the couple of posts you've made, I do appreciate that chimed in. I would personally like to have SOME level of understanding of what's going on, though.

I seem to recall there being a FB page for Gen6 owners that linked back with this site somehow. Instagram, Twitter, etc. - there are definitely ways to let folks know what's going on.

Of course it does count, sorry if I sounded dismissive of that. It's just that something more specific would be more helpful, say, a top banner or at least a sticky in each forum along the lines of "hey everyone, sorry about these intermittent periods of unavailability; we don't yet know why it's happening, our current theory is an issue with DNS/database engine/middleware/forum engine/etc., please be patient and tolerate these outages for a little longer while we're working on a resolution".

That way whenever the forum is available, people would know that work is being done to address the root cause, not just that you guys are aware of the problem, which is kind of obvious, given the forum is inaccessible for long periods.

Again, thank you for all the work you mods and the forum owner do behind the scene, we definitely appreciate this forum and worry about it, as you can see

Not about you. I think you're doing the best you can. My comment was meant to the head honcho. He's the one by lack of communication gives the impression of not caring. Perception is reality to us.
