Monday Morning QB - Comparison

Well, two weeks ago one of our anonymous QB's had a bye week so we'll skip that one. As for last week...

QB7 - 22-34 (64.7%) for 242 yds (7.1yds/att) 1 TD 0 INT QB rating - 95.5 Road win

QB17 - 13-17 (76.5%) for 148 yds (8.7 yds/att) 2 TD 0 INT QB rating 141.3 Home win

Despite a strong game by QB7, QB17 takes it yet again and now leads 8-4

Actually 4 TD's

1 receiving one rushing and two passing equals four

First QB in the history of the NFL to score 3 ways

When your the BEAST of QB's lots of NFL firsts happen

Miami finally beat the Bills

Sorry not on the scoreboard Poor Mans

The NBC TV ratings Thursday Night 26.6m viewers.

The Bills game was 22.5m

My thoughts on this are the Thursday Thanksgiving games always rate higher and the fact that the general population was totally footballed out from all the games from Thursday to Sunday.

Bills Quarterback Josh Allen is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Bills to a 35-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night.

This is Allen's second Offensive Player of the Week award this season and now has 14 overall in his career.(that is 2 per year)

The signal caller also became the first quarterback in NFL history with a passing, rushing and receiving TD in a single game and became the fourth player in NFL history to have a receiving TD on a pass he threw.

In other news 23 is back in the fold.

Yes Micah Hyde was signed to the PS yesterday.

After turning down multiple offers in the off season and in season stating "IF he returned to football it would only be with the Bills"

Welcome back Micah now lets go get that SB.

There's a rumor it could be flexed to Monday night. I hope not. The game is already scheduled to be shown here in So Cal (probably nationally like the KC game) and I'd rather be able to watch it live. If I goes to Monday then I'm likely going to be watching it recorded later that night.

Not to worry I am pretty it cannot be flexed.

Only games in the 1pm window can be flexed and there has to be a 2 week warning to the teams.

This is also one of CBS's coveted 4:30 window games which they consider premium games

When it comes to flexing Monday games, the league has to follow two rules:

1. The NFL can only move a game that's being played between Week 12 and Week 17.
2. If the league is going to utilize flex scheduling, the decision has to be made at least 12 days in advance.

More Flex Rules

How it works
Sunday afternoon games can be moved between the 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. windows.
The league can flex games to Sunday Night Football twice in Weeks 5 through 10, and during Weeks 11 through 17, they can flex games “at the NFL’s discretion.”
The NFL can flex games to Monday Night Football in Weeks 11 through 17 at its discretion.
Thursday Night Football will be available in flex scheduling on a trial basis in 2024. The league can flex games to Thursday night up to twice between Weeks 13-17.
If your team is on the schedule for Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, or Thursday Night Football during those flexible scheduling windows, the NFL considers all of those games “tentative” because of flex scheduling.
Only Sunday afternoon games or games listed as “TBD” can be flexed to SNF, MNF or TNF. So you can’t flex a Thursday night game to Sunday night, and so on.
As usual, the schedule for Week 18 of the 2024 season won’t be finalized until Week 17 concludes.
The league has to give 12 days’ notice when flexing a game to Sunday or Monday night in Weeks 5 through 13 for SNF and Weeks 12 through 17 for MNF.
For Sunday Night Football, Weeks 14 through 17, the decision must be made at least six days prior to a game being flexed.
For Thursday Night Football, Weeks 13 through 17, the NFL will announce the decision at least 28 days before the game.

So basically our schedule is set for weeks 14-17 as the Lions game is also Premium CBS 4:30 window.

Weeks 16 and 17 are the Pats and Jets at 1pm and that is where they will stay based on our opponents records.

Week 18 is TBD but again its vs the Pats so I would guess there would be no compelling reason for anytime other than 1pm.

We are long overdue for a storybook ending. He would be just one of many!
