Went from 1LT Interior to 3LT Minus the 2LT Pieces

I posted this on another Corvette Forum, but thought some of you over here might be interested in my mod.

Okay, so I know some of you are saying "Whaaaaat????" to my subject line. Okay, I bought the car with the AR 1LT interior (seats only) but wanted to add just a little more red to the interior. I really liked the 3LT dash portions, but just felt that the added red to the console and door armrests were just a bit to much red for my taste. So, I was on YouTube and searched C7 Corvette videos and up popped these videos on upgrading the C7 seats to two-toned. Very professional looking company (Leather Seats dot Com). I thought they were a California company, but after looking closer, they were right here in Oklahoma City and only 10 minutes from where I work!! We'll that demanded a trip to their showroom and what a pleasant surprise. I could not have run across a more professional company and some really great people (Tim and Eric) to work with. They spoke C7 and knew exactly where I was coming from. If anyone wants to PM me, I'd be happy to discuss in more detail. Originally, they said they would want my car for about a week or more if "they" were going to pull all the pieces to be worked on, but after looking on the forum here, I was able to pull all the parts myself after buying some trim removal tools at AutoZone and reading and watching DIY material, and dropped them off instead (I presume you could mail them your parts to do the same.

Anyway, here are some pics AND they made a great video of it all too!! I put some of the parts back together in the parking lot but came back the next day so they could take the pics of the finished product. I could not be happier with the results. Enjoy...

I also have a AR interior but opt'ed for the 2LT because I didn't want the reflective colors on the dash. Probably just a pilot thing.
