I think as a rotational player, like he would have been for the Browns and will be for the Panthers, he will be valuable.

That's just it, he's a rotational player at this point of his career. He said he wanted to stay in Tampa, but he didn't want to renegotiate his contract. He would have gotten more guaranteed here than Carolina gave him ( just $4mil). Before the Bucs released him, they could have Traded him (believed to be Cleveland) and gotten something back, but he would not renegotiate the contract and wanted to shop himself around. He's a primadonna who is past his prime.

I'm glad that we now have Suh, who has a Nasty side and is still playing at a high level. Even better that he took McCoy's jersey number - 93!

Eagles give Wentz $128MM over four years.

I get why they had to do that but I don't think he's worth it. Scratch the Eagles off the Super Bowl contender list once that contract kicks in.

His injury history is concerning, but outside of that I don't see how signing a quality starting QB to a long term contract eliminates the eagles from contention. I mean they won with a backup.

I don't think it is the length of the Contract, it is the HUGE amount of money for the QBs. It limits what they can spend on everyone else. One of the reason the Patriots keeping loading up is that Brady's contract is so low

Kendrick Norton of the Dolphins had his arm amputated after a car wreck. Sad.

The problem for the XFL is that all eight of the leagues teams are located in NFL cities. They might have had a chance for success if they were located in non-NFL cities. As it stands now their schedule is to start after the Super Bowl on Feb. 8 2020 and last 10 weeks ending with their championship game April 26, 2020. Personally I think it`s just another Vince McMahon failure. It failed in 2001 and will probably suffer the same fate as the 2001 season did.

Can't wait for the regular season to start!

As far As the XFL time will tell. McMahon has the money to get the league up and going and if they can start to turn a profit in 3 years or so it might make it. The key to there success will be legalized sports betting which is a multi billion dollar business.
