actually I drive on the street between 2500 and 4500 RPM. My supercharger works in that range, and higher if needed.

Now when u say drive you mean regular accelerating or flooring it?
asking cuz I dont accelerate hard in low rpms usually(not flooring it) except I will floor it in second if Im over 30mph instead of down shifting because second doesnt seem much wider then 1st on manual

Question for the superchargers gurus..
Supercharger how much throttle do you have to give it before it starts to boost.. and does boost build gradually with throttle or once you get into boost it hits pretty hard and car takes off>?
What Im trying to same is it easy for throttle control like N/A?

I would rather give up the perceived efficiency of a turbo for the driveability and reliability of a supercharger any day of the week.

Before you go there:

Yes, I have owned turbo vehicles, installed turbo "kits", and sold turbo systems. In my opinion (yes I am entitled to have one) they are riddled with issues that not only cost the customer time and frustration, they cost the installer MONEY.
You are correct about the 99.9% of drivers are in the 2500 to 4500 RPM range but that wasnt what was being argued. You need to read before posting. It was UNDER 2500 RPM torque that was being discused but thanks anyway for your input.

I read it Cole....you need to settle down.

I will rephrase, I will take off idle to 2500 RPM power as well as 2500-4500.

Drivability is what Blownchevy is arguing and so was I. In a shoot out where up shifting and down shifting is the norm perhaps the under 2500 argument is less. But think about it like this - You're in your manual trans car going down the road at 2100rpm in 6th gear. All of a sudden you decide to past someone. With the Maggie just give it a little more throttle angle and you're in - you have boost and it is effortless. With the turbo nothing happens. By the way our twin turbo kit is done - we are going to post dyno numbers, video and pics next week.

In order to avoid the on going battle I have an idea - why don't I just pump the twin turbo kit through the TVS2300 Maggie? Oh ya.. that is what I am doing
