Running 2 different brands of tires
I have 2 new goodyear run flats. I was wondering if I could use pirelli runflats all 4 the same size. Thx

I don't see why not as long as they are rated the same. Just keep the same brand on the fronts and back and you shouldn't have a problem.

I run 2 different brand tires on my car, both winter and summer
For Summer Eagle SC3's on the back and Advan V105's on the front. For Winter Vredestein on the back and regular all season on the front.

Not an issue but it would be best to keep the tread design close for similar handling front and rear.

Because why? There isnt even equal traction front and rear stock. Cars are intended to understeer from the factory, especially at lower performance levels. But staggered setups and different weight distributions make this idea of having to run the same tires ridiculous. There are some things like making sure you aren’t going with radically different compound ratings and obvious dangerous oversteer setups, but there’s also no good reason to match tires front to rear on a RWD or FWD car…in fact id argue opposite of this is closer to optimal…

I have a pair of michelin cup 2s up front and pirelli corsas in rear. Works fine and I did it for cost. Got good deals on pairs of tires.
