Did you buy all 4? Because with the 245/40X20 fronts the 6th gen uses there won't be an issue.

AFAIK, the front and rear must be within 0.5" radius. You will be at 0.55" if you still have the 245/45 on the front. So you will be close.

Bolt them on and find out.

Your speedometer will read fast by 1.04%

The gen6 tires are too small in diameter for your gen5.

What he is saying is you will be fine. For the Gen 6 they run and are set up to run that diameter. But the 5th Gen runs that diameter stock. So there shouldn't be a problem!?

OH. Sorry. You are worried about the tires........ Nevermind
Just bolt them on and see. If it acts funny or there is dummy lights, get different tires in back.

that is a 5mm sidewall diff. as stated above, should work great, but will be a +mph difference on speedo. need a math wiz here, but prolly only 2-3 mph faster than your speedo reads at 60mph. these things can be tuned into your ecu.

You need to have the same diameter tires on the front as on the rear or stabilitrak will show an error.

If all 4 tires are the same but smaller diameter than the originals, your speedo will be off.

You can find tire diameters and an explanation of what the numbers in a tire size (example: 305/35) mean on the TireRack website. (Hint: 35 is not sidewall height in mm. It's a ratio.)

So +1@25MPH, 2@50, 3@75, 4@100MPH.

It is not a 5mm sidewall difference. It is .54" or 13.7mm.
