No such luck!!
I think you need a Family Account so you only need the VIN and do not need to push the blue button. (See, contrary to the image I present, I do pay attention to OnStar.)

You will be using battery life while tracking so unless you want to kill the battery be careful on how often you check.

I don’t want to offend anyone that has been waiting for a car, but the excitement is killing me. I’ve been looking at several dealers and waiting in line for an allocation for months. Now I see where it already went to 3000 in just 2 days. Now that I said that, it will probably sit there for a month.

You are correct that you need the family account, however someone must push the blue button and be able to answer the security questions, this is the only way to activate that vehicle. been there and done that.

Are you going to be there when he unloads? Maybe you could get some insight from driver about delays wondering if they just didn't have enough trucks.

I meant that it'd be nice if someone talks to a transport driver to confirm its a shipping backlog and not QC holdups. If there are trucks lined up but aren't getting to load is be worried about mine being a week behind yours.

Okay I was there for the unload...a few pics in a bit. He had 9 more to deliver and he was going to drop 3 at Texarkana, and then into Texas- but he was unsure where (or so he said). There is another truck behind him that was going to Oklahoma, and another in front of him was going to Oklahoma and northern Texas. This was his 3rd delivery of vettes and he said it is not all the trucking fault for delay, but there was some delays because they do not get to do night/weekend deliveries like other cars....so like he said you limit him to 9 hours a day and they have to sleep ......normally they can drive at night -less traffic and deliver at night- less traffic on streets ..things go faster.......if you look at the picture he is delivering in the middle turn lane of a busy street at 4:30pm.....
