Sunroof was not an issue on mine, I added literally the day the dealer called me that they got an allocation. Also change the color to rapid blue. Status was at 1100 went to 2000 after that allocation.

Was rapid blue a color that has a higher chance of being pushed out quicker or did you just switch because you prefer the color?

I just switched because I saw the color in person while waiting for my order to be accepted. When the time came for the allocation and the dealer went over my build to verify we changed the color and added the sunroof.

The only thing i don't like about the sunroof is that it breaks up the roof line that I love so much. But hey don't listen to the guy who got a vert and really took out the roofline all together.

The sunroof is overrated IMO. We have one on wifey's GM SUV, from the look of it, the exact same part that goes on the Camaro, it's tiny and I use it once a year, if that. The reverse mohawk roofline on the Camaro is a very conspicuous asset, not worth losing over a square foot or two of roof glass.

Difficult to clean properly, too, being a horizontal glass surface, eventually I had to resort to 0000 steel wool on the SUV to get rid of all the minerals. Yeah, I know, I should use a water softener, so there's that.

+1 to this. One of the main reasons I sold my 16 2SS for a 1SS 1LE because of the head room and better suspension with E diff

Surely just for daily driving it can’t be THAT bad. How noticeable is it without a helmet on?

The roof line change with sunroof was the reason why I didnt option it. It adds aggression to the overall appearance. That and I had a soft top with my ND2 MX5, so I am over all that.

Sunroof is just personal preference. Especially for someone like me with plenty of headroom. However I really came to this thread to see if 1LE’s were still on constraint. Any news?
