I think he means some of the AC efficiency is lost because the AC now has to cool the blower too. It is normal for the AC to take a small hit in performance. It should not be blowing hot air though.

Which in my experience while not a huge difference when it's really hot and humid out it does impact the performance of the AC in the car.

No no, it is not a language problem...asked 3 tuners here in EU and all told me a chiller will make hot air to enter in to the cabin. Do not know why and no reasons where given, but as I suppose the air will be inside the SC circuit (if I understood how it works).

A/C will be a bit degradated working at 50% and unused in the cabin w/ the 100% in the HX, I know that

That's why I asked here, to confirm my thoughts or no.

Thank you.

AC is only slightly degraded because the refrigerant is passing through not only cabin lines but also the chiller, but it’s very minimal especially on the FI interchiller.

I have one sitting for my C7Z but have hesitated putting it on now because some tuners on Facebook saying it doesn’t work as well as advertised. It has to make a substantial difference in 70+ degree temps.

My MAT's hover around ambient and very rarely hit 100F. (even in summer)

Works very well... The coolant stays around 38-45F.

They work extremely well, it really is equivalent to having a permanent ice tank.

Good Deal. I’m going to get AN conversion fittings and get rid of my floppy rubber hose that came with the maggy kit at the same time.

The ONLY downside to a chiller is that they're a bit time consuming to install. Otherwise, I don't know of any negatives if installed properly.

There is no way for hot air to enter the cabin with the chiller. It is mounted near the front core support. No where near the cabin.

They work well in our testing.

There are still some gains to be had using a chiller in conjunction with an ice tank and EMP pump.

How do you have your fans setup? I was thinking about trying to only have them come on like they would with coolant temp. That way they aren’t blasting all the time. To that’s the only downside I can think of

Thanks for the input. I have an upgraded pump already. I’m definitely going to put it on now.

I know that this is old but I am curious how you wired the EMP pump? Did you use anything from the stock pump wiring?
