Does this look like normal dirt/grime on the bottom of my L99

Just noticed this while cleaning it today. I'd imagine it's just what happens to a car after 12 years but wanted to get some other eyes on it for input. Haven't noticed any issues while driving.

Either you need a new oil pan gasket, or more likely, your timing cover seal is shot. It's hard to tell when the oil is that old, it migrates everywhere. I'd take degreaser and a power washer to that, clean it all off, then add some leak detecting dye to your oil and drive it a few hundred miles. Then get underneath with a blacklight and you'll likely see the source.

Agreed with LS1. Looks like you have some seepage from some where and over time the road dirt and dust has covered it up looking like that. Plus the discoloration of the metal.

Also looks like the metal brackett for your wire harness that goes under the front of oil pan isn’t secured .. the metal brackett that hold the red power wire
