I clean the inside of my tail pipes maybe once a month or so depending on the weather and my mood. I use a bottle of Bar Keepers Soft Cleanser. Dab some on a towel/rag and the stain wipes off like butter.

No... I don't take off my shoes

But it is always nice to take a new car from the garage

I have to see how many miles I've driven this year.
I count 300 miles it probably won't be more.

going to polish my stock exhaust over winter to a mirror finish.
thing is if u keep you car pristine should the time come to sell it you'll sell it immediatly.
i have chronic OCD. i even wax my bathroom tiles EVERY single sunday. have done so since we built our house.
it's 16 years old and almost as good as the day we moved in.
going to clean all the tiles on the roof next summer. tile by tile with a scrubbing brush

I use wheel cleaner and a foam cone from Ebay on the end of my drill. I rinse with water when I'm done and dry them off. I have stock tips.

God, it's great to see so many obsessive compulsive clean freaks like myself!

Several months back I was gonna ask about polishing the mufflers (that carbon tracking eats my lunch) but I didn't wanna seem bat crap crazy.
I honestly feel somewhat vindicated now to be around other OCD folks!

Just to show my street cred, I bought a t-handled lugnut cleaner awhile back.

I kid you not, I bought a lug nut cleaner last week. It sucks trying to get my hands in there with a microfiber towel. Some of my cars have some real deep wells where the lug nuts go on. It came in the mail yesterday and I was like this is perfect.

I use an inexpensive soft paint brush to get in the lug nut area with
some wheel cleaner. No brainer and only $1.29

I don't use anything but ceramic spray on my Corsa Xtreme tips. Never needed metal polish before.

Every time I put the Camaro back in the garage under the tarp, I give it a good wash, or at least wipe it down with a wet towel and give it a perfect polish with wet wax.

I brush the carpets, wipe the engine compartment and the car goes to the garage absolutely perfectly clean and polished.
Both my Camaros.

Well, simply maximum and for some even excessive care. That's why I was surprised that someone took it to an even higher level to polish the inside of the exhaust
lol, yes George, my neighbors keep telling me "you're gonna wax all the paint off if you keep doing that"!! She gets a full detail as yours does after every trip. I only cover her up when storms are coming. Otherwise she sits out in the carport ready to drive, I DON'T have a garage, just a carport.
