Gave it to the detailer to get fully ceramic coated and PPF on the front end. I won't have it for 4 days. Having to drive around in a borrowed Ford Ranger. I miss it already.

Got home late tonight, grabbed a beer out of the beer fridge next to it and looked at the car cover... Heading to Europe in a few days for work, the Camaro won't see the light of day at least until Nov 12 (been covered since Oct 26)...

Not what I did but what I need to do. Swap out the brake pads. Holy brake dust. This will be a street driven car. I'm beyond the need to be Mario Andretti age/urge. I'm guessing Powerstop is the go-to replacement pads?

Yea Powerstop is way less dust. I will say the stocks wheels are a bit of a PITA to clean.

Have them on my car and it's easily 95% way less brake dust with no noticeable degradation in the braking from the spirited driving I do. I got the entire kit... drilled and slotted rotors too.

Ditto on the PowerStop Extreme Z26. Just put them on. Never thrown out brakes before after only 10k miles but I couldn’t take it anymore. Never replaced pads without rotors before, either, but with only 10k I wasn’t going to pitch the OE discs. So far, amazing results. I followed the break in procedure, no signs of dust and rotor surface looks better than it did with the harsh ass semi-mets.

I don't have the stock wheels on anymore, but I graphene coated(glass bottle kind, not spray) the new wheels and the brake dust is already massively reduced on the wheels. Hopefully down the line when it's time to replace the brake pads, they will have ones compatible with the copper-free BBK.

PowerStop will be on list of things to buy over the winter.

I'm in the other camp, don't mind the brake dust at all (my 1LE wheels are brake dust gray plus wheel cleaning is therapeutic, especially with these easy to reach around spokes), and the Ferodos are definitely better pads.

You can add me to the PowerStop Z26 camp, at 400 miles I couldn't take the dust and since I wasn't tracking the car the brake pad change was a very welcome relief from the crazy amount of brake dust to OEM Brembo pads left behind... I will say the OEM pads to grip better but the PowerStop are fine for the street...

SAME....with my wheels the brake dust just overtakes 'em. Next on the to-do list.

Brake dust gray cracked me up. I get the therapeutic part but still rather get my therapy doing something not because you have to, and with the filthy OE Brembo pads, it’s a have to. Now if you want to talk about real bliss that’s not as consuming as trying to keep semi-metallic brake dust at bay, there’s definitely something ultra satisfying about polishing my exhaust tips after a drive 😊

What's wrong with this first picture? I wonder if Offset Wheels was testing me to see if I knew what I was doing. I actually went back and redid the TPMS tool figuring that I messed up the first time.

But then got out my handheld digital gauge and got the same reading. So, just to be sure, I used my other digital gauge with my 20 gallon compressor. Same reading. I'm like dam, but looked at the paperwork and saw that my wheels and tires were assembled on a Monday.

The Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 PLUS specify a max of 51 psi.
