Opinions on Best indoor Car Cover

I recently got my 2022 1SS 1LE M6 Black and keep it parked inside my garage, but where I live, due to wild fires, many trees etc., I find that after a week the car is fairly dusty.

Instead of washing the car every sunny Saturday morning before going for a spirited drive I would prefer to use a quality indoor car cover that will not trap humidity, any moisture, or scratch the car in any way.

Any input on high quality indoor car covers would be appreciated.

I keep mine inside but looking for an outdoor cover. Figured better to have it and use inside. I’ve been trying to see what the inside of the GM one is as I have credits to use.

I’ve had good results with Covercraft’s Dustop indoor car covers on my 2004 GTO and 2017 Corvette.

I don't care what any car cover manufacture says put on and taking off a car cover will scratch the paint no matter how careful you are. I only use my for long term storage (more than two weeks) and only after I have washed it. I tried the GM outdoor cover my kids got me don't even bother it's awful for scratching paint, too stiff, elastic edges. I bought a California cover Plushweave Cotton Flannel indoor only. I always make sure the edges fold up away from the paint as I take it off and put it on. I fold the sides up on top two folds then roll from the front to the back and try not to slide the cover, though its impossible then once I hit the back window I finish and store it in the GM bag the kid got me. I sometimes wonder if it would be worth it to buy some of the plastic sheeting material body shops use to cover cars in the shop.

I'm using a Noah cover from California Car Cover. Rated for outdoors but I use it indoors. Very soft and thick enough to protect the car if something gets knocked over on it. This one was actually for my 2013 Roush RS3 Mustang. It fits....

None. The key is to make sure the car is clean before covering. Indoors, once the cover is in place it doesn't move. My Roush was black, too.

I wouldn’t risk any on a black car, imo.

probably do more damage putting the cover on and off all the time. Safer to just wash it once a week or take a leaf blower and blow the dust off and drive it and wash it after

I knew I was in for extra cleaning on a black car, just hoping to science out of it.

You guys are way too scared. I've owned black cars for years and most have had covers. Here's a few that were stored with covers a lot.
