Even in a time when the media is dominated by images of green issues, it is important to remember that our heritage is one of a free market. In such a market, we have to remember that buyers have a choice of what they want, and those who want to buy something sporty with a long history of dominating the competition, then they should have the right to do so. This car will sell. It will make people fall in love with a company that has recently been America’s punching bag, in spite of the obvious fact that no one company or individual is responsible for our country’s problems. Today, General Motors shows its gratitude to America by building cars that outperform imports from all over the world by using greener technology than the competition and designing cars based on intense market research. America should thank the General for building these products. Too long have Americans complained about how globalization steals away homeland jobs or how nothing is made in America anymore. Instead of buying something from a company that gives back to Japan, Korea, or Germany, perhaps Americans should realize the error of their ways and buy the cars that won all of the awards. The Camaro will outrun the Nissan 370Z, Hyundai Genesis, and BMW M3. Add to that a 13-second quarter mile in the V8 and a 29-mpg 304-hp V6—that’s right, an efficient V6 with more ponies than that Camaro you had back in 1967—and you have got something that is marketable even to the greens with a craving for unadulterated engine power. Why don’t I tell you something that you don’t know? Did you know that this Camaro bears a V8 that does not get the gas guzzler tax? If imports can make a mean sports car, then America can beat it. Anyone who disagrees should take a test drive in the car that sold over 14,000 units before ever hitting the streets, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.

Some people feel the need to discuss how the Camaro is irresponsible. Make sure that you provide an adequate response. This guy did.
