Boosted Exhaust Setup
It’s time to figure out exhaust for my car. Give me some ideas, right now, i’m running Kooks 2” longtubes, no cats, no crush pipe. All through the stock diameter exhaust pipe.
I’m procharged and cammed, making about 11 psi give or take. Stage 3 cam from btr. What should i do for exhaust? I don’t care if it’s loud and obnoxious. i only take it out to race generally. I just want power. Settle your back pressure debates and such here and help me figure out what’s gonna be the best option |

Stock system has been shown to not have much restriction until 800 or 900 hp or so.
AWE makes some really nice stuff with the best tips IMO, sounds amazing, and won't break the bank like something like Borla. Thats the direction I will be going, because it sounds awesome. I dont think I will ever see power #'s that will require a new exhaust system. Good luck in your choice, a lot of options!

The OEM suitcase muffler was not a restriction at 900+RWHP in our testing.
If you just want it loud you can straight pipe it or install Corsa mufflers. There will be no measurable performance gain. |

I have MBRP Race catback on procharged setup, probably the loudest you can be. love it.

I have 2" ARH headers, catted into 3"Arh long pipes and AWE touring axleback. Yea, it's loud but at this point my sound addiction has taken over. WAS pretty loud in the cabin I did some sound deadening and it brought it down alot.

For a supercharged setup, you'll be good with some longtubes and the stock exhaust for that power range. If you were running a turbo, we'd be having a different conversation.
