How to handle service problem

Have a problem with driver side door making a strange noise when opening. Had an 8am appointment with local dealer. The person took car back at 8 and put in work bay. After an hr the woman told me the worker was a no show. She pulled it into another bay. After a other 70 minutes the service advisor came to me and said had to order part and that it would be $65. My car is a 2020 with low miles. Should b covered under warranty .... He would call Tuesday to set appointment. No call Tuesday or Wednesday. I called Thursday and asked for my advisor and was told unavailable The person on the phone couldn't even find that my Camaro was even looked at .. But he would pass on to my adviser . Friday afternoon I called and speak to Service Manager. Was told unavailable but would pass my info along. This is a dealer in Marietta Georgia. Is there maybe an 800 customer service number or complaint department ...

..

I have only done service at Rick Hendricks and they have been fairly good. I have never been able to get a decent deal from sales there.

It may be worth a shot seeing what they can do for your issue. The service advisors there have always been pretty good.

Sounds like you should go and get ur car back and take it to a different dealer.

Also when you get that generated email asking about ur experience, don't hold back. A negative review will actually get you a phone call and see where they messed up. Or atleast at any decent dealership.

Yeah I’d take my car and never spend another penny with them. The local dealer that’s 3 minutes away is as bad as you described and they’ll never get my business again. They also wanted 5k over sticker when I was looking to order my ZLE. Now I drive 30 minutes to another dealership and I only have great things to say about them.

Go straight to the General Manager of the Dealership and voice your concerns. If that does not work, find another dealership!
