No sound tube from factory.........

I was just under the hood looking around and I noticed that there's no sound tube under there. Has anyone else noticed this from the factory? I was looking at getting a rotofab setup and I was contemplating the sound delete setup so I was looking to see how hard it would be. Since its not there that made my choice easier.

At some point GM stopped adding the sound tube. It was discontinued somewhat inconsistently, IIRC there was a period of some cars having it and others not, but they've probably eliminated it completely by now.

I have a 20’ M6, mine didn’t have one. My friend has a 22’ A10, his came with one.

That's funny... perhaps they depend on intermittent washing machine hose availability as per Jay Pistana's recollection of how the sound tube was developed

The 1SS still has the sound tube, 2SS does not. They started removing it from the 2SS starting with MY2020.

The sound tube LT-1s are projected to skyrocket in value to collectors a la the Z28s of 50 years ago. They are the ones to have.
