granatelli coil packs

clearly not worth the money, but that aside are they any better?
I have seen proof that the wires albeit expensive are better than stock...
any one ever test them?

I wish I saw someone run the wires stock for stock without tuning inbetween. I'm still not sold on the wires gaining hp.

People make over 1000 hp on stock wires and coils, there is no need to replace them with aftermarket stuff. My old SS ran 8.80 @ 154 mph on stock wires and coils and they were 20 years old, lol.

I have the Granatelli wires & definatlly worth it, 0 ohms is the key. Back when I had my '87 Camaro with a Lingenfelter 383 engine there was a company that made some plug wires that were super low resistance, my friend bought them first & ran his best pass. After that everyone was buying them, including me & it made more power than the stock plug wires. Wish I had kept the time slips to prove it & wish I could remeber the name of that company.

they make wallet lighter and we ALL know, less weight = more speed.

Besides, we need to pad our mod list.

big power is a shop "technically in Bayshore" (I see you are in Bayshore) but really more like Brentwood..
I did a couple of pulls over there... he had a lot of nice stuff in the shop, I was going to have him do my long tubes but I ended up doing them myself, need to bring it in for a tune... right now using an emailed tune from dyno steve..

my plan is eventually to do a cam and port the heads but I have to see how she is with current mods and a real tune (dyno steve has been good but no replacement for dyno tune), finished the headers and stuff but too cold to get a real understanding of where I am at...

What differences did you notice from changing out the wires with the Granatelli 0 ohm. Did you get new plugs too? I am contemplating that if it is worth it
