Had to tighten up some of the bolts on my DSS axles. After replacing the boots I guess the bolts didn't get tightened down enough. A few started backing out which allowed a lot of grease to escape and get flung around.
So I had to clean up all that grease and torque all the bolts back down.

Before the Z06 takes over the QJ I figured I'd continue the maintenance on the 2LS. Changed the Diff fluid using AC Delco 75-90. It's nice that the Z/28 and 2LS take the same juice, I had a quart on the shelf.

I'm using the 5000TLX as is, and have lift pads installed on the car. Works great.

Finally got around to installing my SJM Autoprod Halo Always On harness today. Only issue I ran into was that the wire heading to the fuse box was an inch too short - an easy fix with some wire I have in the toolbox & the old trusty soldering iron. Love the DRL/halo look & being able to keep the DRLs on when the headlights come on - just a shame that you lose the halos-only parking light function (but realistically I never used that anyway). All in all pretty pleased!

I've got the 5000 SLX. I have the ZL1 Addons magnetic pinch weld blocks that I use on both Camaros. Highly recommend.

Since I janked up the rear toe setting on my C5 Z06 I used the 2LS to perfect the toe plate procedure. My big problem was repeatability. No need to make adjustments to the Camaro, rear is toed in 1/16" and even tire wear. Now I need to correct the Z06. Glad I've got the QJ.
