Hubby is also looking at retiring so a car payment at this point may not be a good thing. I guess I will decide once we see what he does, how budget looks, how much repairs to Ruby costs, etc.
Jan - Is Ruby back in action?

Looks like you had a great Time John! I did the Richard Petty driving experience at Daytona. I want to do it again!

I need a BIGGER Garage! New addition to my Fuel Efficient Vehicles.

2003 Torch Red Corvette. My dad and I ordered this Corvette and did the Corvette Museum Delivery. Over 800 Miles from Bowling Green, KY to Jacksonville,FL. Unfortunately, dad passed away in June so the Corvette has a new home.

Trick - Sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. That 2003 is great looking car. I am sure it special in so many ways. One can always find room.

Jan - Good luck with Ruby. Sending good karma for an easy fix.

Ruby is home! The Black Iceolator was cracked in addition to the bolts being stripped. We left it out, fixed the bolt holes & put it all back together with a new gasket. It is running fine (maybe better than ever) & nothing else appears to be wrong. Only set us back $350ish including towing so not too bad. Glad that is behind us & Ruby is good as new.

It's bad enough to lose any member of a family. But to lose a wife and then lose a son 3 months later is just to much to take.
