PRE-CUT WINDOW TINT

Has anyone ordered and installed the PRE-CUT tint by themselves?

I tinted my 3rd & 4th gen and it was TOUGH. The rear windows on those have some wild curves! I believe the 5th gen is a little flatter....

I have. It cost a lot at first since I got it "professionally" done AND then paid to do it myself, but I can see in the long run that it'll cost me wayyyyy less. Anyways the key to success I found is to take your time and prep/clean real well.

How were the curves or bends in the back window?

I am still waiting for my 2012 to arrive or I would look. LOL

If you did the 4th gen, you'll manage the 5th since it's almost a flat piece. The only problem is the angle of the window so the bottom part is hard to reach.

Agreed! When the shop did my rear window I noticed he had the correct tools. It was like a long curved spatula looking thing, which he also used getting the bottom on the front windshield. I have 5% sides and rear with 50% whole windshield with 5% eyebrow. You hardly notice the windshield being done, but it cuts the interior heat up during day and cuts the glare from oncoming traffic at night. Also noticed that the HUD is brighter as it reflects more.
