any chance it is from the 5v reference?
had the same issue it didn't give me a code saying the 5v is out but live data showed it. fixed it by double checking the all the sensors, MAP and MAF were the trouble makers.

LS3 style upper timing gear right? Post a link to the timing kit you bought.

Yes, checked and replaced sensors. Checked grounds, connections to MAP and MAF. Trying to locate someone with a gds2 scanner.

I called lingenfelter and ordered the c5r timing set kit
