Tune options- mildy modded.

Hi All,

My car: 2010 SS LS3: Mods: CAI intake, Solo HFC, Axle back.

I have an option for HP tuners single dynotune for 500 + 100 for license pcm.

or XCT4 from Jannety or RDP?

What are people's thoughts. What do I stand to gain or lose HP and or $ wise?

looking to tune asap. Already threw a cel after the solo's installed Saturday.

Does your car have headers? I would get long tubes first then the tune imo.
I also deal with dyno Steve here and for the price and unlimited tunes is a no brainer. The tune he did to mine really woke it up and also the transmission shifts much harder and even spins 2nd and 3rd gear. Plus my butt dyno noticed it gained some good horsepower

I just installed Solo high flow cats. Gonna roll with those and a tune for now. Maybe gears if I figure out someone local who won't screw it up.

DynoSteve/RDP Motorsports is what I recommend!

How much whp/tq do you guys think i will gain from the addition of tune to Intake/hfc?

I feel a little bit from the intake/hfc. I was basically stock before and just added these things in addition to suspension and wheels. So from a $$ standpoint, prob done for a bit.

Long tube headers add the most out of any bolt on. Plus you can get a good affordable set like Texas speeds long tubes. I paid $500-600 or so for mine with high flow cats I forgot the price. Everything works together with cars more air in and more air out plus a tune to match it all up.
Stick with one of the tuners here because DynoSteve charges like $450 and you get the scanner to keep and lifetime updates for free
