SS Track Deflector Bolt Fatigue
Instructions for installing and uninstalling the brake calipers to take on and off the track brake deflectors calls for a reapplication of red Loctite and 148 ft-lb torque to the caliper bolts.
My understanding was that red loctite was meant to be a permanent application. If this is happening to support track days multiple times a year, isn't there some sort of fatigue working on the bolts? Is there a heightened risk of shearing if performed often (i.e. 6 times a year)?

I might prefer blue loctite, yes the red is more "permanent".

If failure were to occur at any time and they saw that you used anything other than what their instructions said to use it sounds like the sort of thing warranty would be denied for.

You put it on with red and 148ft lbs it'll be on there til the end of time.

On and off as you wrote it would negate the use of Red.

Red and 148 ftlbs are what the GM supplied instructions say to use, Step 12.
I'm not challenging your logic BTW, makes total sense to me.
