Wait I could have sworn that there has been 6G owners on here asking about the parts found in the trunk. One of those pieces was a tow hook. Are you saying the the ZL1 does not have one?

It has a hole for one. I'm thinking you're right it should be in the trunk or something.

I got a magnetic jackpad, tow hook and license plate holder from ZL1 addons. Pretty nice stuff. But I still haven't put the license plate on the front even though its required in California. Towhook looks good.

Does the Hook asy. just screw into the hole or does it require the front grill be pulled off for installation?

Nothing has to be removed from the grill like on the SS to install the tow hook. The web of the grill is so wide there is plenty room.

There's a factory tow hook in the trunk underneath the trunk mat. Nothing pretty like the ones from ZLaddons, just a simple ring in case you get stuck or towed.

i want a plate which doesn't block the top part of the bumper.. i hate when it blocks that..

I'll stay in New Orleans. Best food in the country (perhaps 2nd only to New York). Great music. World-class racetrack 10 minutes from downtown (or 5 minutes from my house!). No emissions tests. 93 Octane fuel. No front plate requirements.

Sto N Sho has one for the ZL1 now. No pic of it installed yet but I imagine it looks pretty close to the SS w/ ground effects pic. Attaches to factory bolts under the front splitter.

I was considering the tow hook setup but this looks to block a lot less of the front air vent and having the plate on the side just messes with the symmetry too much for me. So I will bet getting a Sto N Sho when the ZL1 comes in.

Just bought the ZL1 Addons tow hook and License plate holder. We shall see how it goes. I am not putting on the front tag, only when I get pulled over and tell the officer that "I just got back from the track and forgot to put it on, so thanks for telling me." I have read where this guy did this and never got a ticket in several pull overs.
