Carbon flash emblems

I ordered all the carbon flash emblems from my dealer for right at $200. I was wondering of those who've replace the badges on their cars, how did you get all the emblems straight? I know the front and back flags have indention's in the body but for the lettering and stingrays specifically.

I decided to go with everything. I used masking tap a blow dryer and fishing line.

I found that once I had the Stingrays or "guitars" as my wife calls 'em, and the Corvette script removed from the back of the car, I actually liked it better. I have the painted ones to replace the chrome but they are laying on the shelf awaiting application on some other item as they are not going on the Stingray. The plastic emblems & script just seemed like they "cheapened" the car. JMO

the letters come in a foam block for easy mounting, they go like this on the back using the point of the V pointing to the right side of the corvette V

the fish mount slight head down in the front following the line of the car, not parallel to the ground...use painters tape to set it up...

I used painters tape to mark the fish and the letters. The logos were easy
